Why we built this
Week 29 started as an observation. Talent bases grow fast. Over five years an ATS gathers thousands of candidates, notes, communication and assessments. The value in that data is enormous. AI makes it possible to use it in new ways.
Much of the valuable information sits in free text. Interview notes, free text fields, communication over time. Untagged gems. AI search finds them by content, not labels.
Our thesis is simple. You do not need a new ATS. You need an intelligence layer on top of what already exists. Week 29 is that layer.
What we believe
The human makes the decision. AI should make it possible to make it on real evidence, fast.
Data should be protected. We store within the EU on Microsoft Azure and pseudonymise before AI processing. We never train the model on your candidates without documented consent.
The platform should be ready for regulation before regulation takes effect. The EU AI Act classifies recruitment AI as high risk from August 2026. Humans making the decisions is our starting point, not our retrofit.
ATS platforms are the foundation. We build on top of them, not instead of them. Operational flows stay where they already are.
The team

Eric Mannheimer. Founder and product visionary. Drives the vision and the definition of what Week 29 should be.
Oskar Strömberg. Business and technical bridge. Connects customer, product and technology so the right things get built in the right order.
We are a small team in an early phase. That means we choose customers carefully and build close to them.
