Week29 started as an observation. Talent databases grow fast. In a few years an ATS has collected thousands of candidates, notes and evaluations. The value in that data is large, and most of it sits in free text that nobody has time to read.
Why a layer and not a system
Another ATS is not needed. Recruitment teams have already chosen their system, built their workflows in it and trained their people. What is missing is the ability to actually use the data that has gathered there. So we build on top, not instead of.
What we believe
That a person should make the decision, and that technology should make it possible to make it on real evidence. That a tool which cannot explain itself does not belong in recruitment. And that whoever builds with candidate data carries a responsibility that cannot be delegated to a supplier.
We are a small team at an early stage. That means we choose customers carefully and build close to them.
